Dear Leadership San Antonio Alumni,
So much has changed over the last month. As we “Stay Home-Work Safe”, yet look for connection with our Classmates and friends and ways to help our beloved San Antonio recover from the devastating emotional and economic impact of COVID-19, it can be hard to know where to start. But we’re going to try.
Whether you have attended every Alumni event, or you haven’t seen much of your Classmates since graduation, we want to better understand how the Leadership San Antonio Alumni Association can work to help you and make an impact in our city.
Help us by completing this survey no later than Thursday, April 30. Click this link to start.
Please be safe. If you can, please help support the local businesses that are the backbone of our economy.
We’re in this together.
Your Friends at the Leadership San Antonio Alumni Association
Are you interested in hosting an event with your fellow LSA Alum? Look no further! Events can be socials, lunches, breakfast, coffee socials, the sky is the limit. All that you need is one point of contact for the group hosting and planning the event and one person to complete the application below. We urge those volunteering to plan an event to consider a variety of options that bring in the tenants of what LSA is: an organization promotes leadership development, networking amongst like-minded individuals, and an opportunity to connect to the community and civic efforts happening in San Antonio. Please complete the following Host Application Form to host and LSA Alumni Event. Thanks!
Leadership San Antonio’s success is due in large part to our generous sponsors who provide resources of time, talent, and treasure to build and execute impactful monthly programs and special events with our Alumni Association. Your organization’s support is an investment in this great program of movers and shakers in all facets of San Antonio’s business community. Your mission, vision, purpose, and logo can be proudly connected with the Leadership San Antonio program through your donation and will certainly reap the rewards well beyond the current class year. Each class day boasts a different theme and your organization’s investment can be uniquely placed to support your own goals and objectives in our community. For specific sponsorship details, please contact Lori Stinson at email@example.com. We continue to be grateful to our community’s business leaders for their invaluable support for our emerging leaders in San Antonio!
For sponsors who are already committed to supporting LSA, please complete the form and return to the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce!
Looking to give back to this great LSA Family? Wanting to apply your leadership skills in creating the next BEST LSA Class Ever? You may want to consider applying to serve as Co-Chair of the next Leadership San Antonio class cohort.
We are looking for Chamber members in good standing of either the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce or the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, with a tried and true track record of service within the business community, with a dedication to civic engagement, leadership development, team building and future success of the Alamo Region.
Ideally, this person will have served as a Steering Committee in the past, but this is not a requirement. What is necessary is that you have completed the class, been an active and engaged member of the LSA Alumni Association and have a passion to develop leaders who will affect change and inspire others to grow to their best potential!
Since 1975, Leadership San Antonio (LSA) has served the San Antonio community by providing over 1500 leaders opportunities for engagement and education in the inner-workings of our great city. The success of each class is directly related to the involvement and shared experiences of those who have walked the same path, allowing participants a personal link to a deeper understanding of the issues facing the city and our surrounding area.
As exemplary alumni of LSA and active Chamber business members, the Steering Committee is tasked with actively collaborating and crafting a curriculum for the class year, while serving as examples of character, commitment and volunteerism for the class as a whole. As a Steering Committee member, your keen insight and connections will be an invaluable tool in creating a meaningful program that will empower San Antonio’s emerging leaders to carry on the LSA Legacy of service and dedication to San Antonio.
Dear LSA Family,
We hope you and your families are remaining healthy and safe. During these past two months our great city has taken many necessary measures to ensure that our community stays safe and slows the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing measures that help to mitigate the risk of spreading the virus has greatly impacted our businesses, our schools, our families. We are all finding new ways to stay engaged, stay productive, and stay connected while supporting and rallying behind many of our LSA family who are struggling in our hotel, restaurant, tourism and travel industries, small business and non-profit sectors, as well as many others who have been professionally and personally affected.
With that said, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce have agreed to continue LSA 45 (aka LSA 2020) into 2021, modifying our current class days using creative shortened virtual programs, challenging each other to serve the community and buy local, and to focus on the way ahead into next year. During these unprecedented times, our priorities are to ensure our businesses and families are safe and supported. We are challenged to improve ways that LSA can directly impact our neighbors and our community. In January 2021, we will reconnect to carry on the traditional mission of the program through full LSA class days – to educate and inform class members in the vital areas affecting San Antonio, as well as to encourage Chamber Business involvement and Community advocacy.
We find the COVID-19 challenges as a unique opportunity to leave a Legacy through Service and Action for our current class.
We look forward to seeing what LSA 45 can accomplish and we stand with you! We thank you for your continued commitment, leadership, and support to our great city!
We are all in this together!
